| Report | The Turbo Expo is an annually international conference organized by the International Gas Turbine Institute (IGTI). In 2014 the conference took place in Düsseldorf with over 3.000 experts from arround the world. The support by the Research School Plus allowed me to participate and futhermore to present the results of my research at that famous technical conference. I had to give two talks about some special problems regarding the application of industrial steam turbines for power generation. The discussions after the presentations and helpful advice from experienced researchers give new interesting ideas for my Phd Project. Furthermore I've used my attendance at the conference for networking, especially with the leading manufacturers of turbomachinery. |
