| Report | The financial support of the RUB Research School allowed me to conduct my research at the school of engineering at the University of Pennsylvania for six months. I learned a lot regarding the simulation of plastic deformations in metals from the enormous knowledge of my host and major expert in that field Prof. Vitek. By combining the research by RUB's and my host's institutes new links and possibilities for novel simulations have been created. The academic and personal experiences I made are invaluable and I am grateful for the financial support. www.seas.upenn.edu |
