Report | During my stay in the USA from the 1st to the 9th of November, I participated in the '67th Gaseous Electronics Conference' taking place this year in Raleigh (North Carolina). This conference is worldwide the main gathering of the international community dealing with the investigation and understanding of plasma science and their applications. It is organized by the American Physical Society and has ever since served as a discussion platform on scientific progress for the community in plasma research. Therefore, experts from all different fields in the research on plasmas physics are attending this conference, especially experts of the novel field of microplasmas. |
