Report | The RS+ funding allowed me to present my novel sensor design and my newest research results to international experts at the 'IEEE Sensors Applications Symposium (SAS 2014)'. The SAS 2014, as one of the largest gatherings of RF and microwave professionals in the field of sensor development and applications, gave me the unique opportunity to get in contact with the international research community in my field of research. The SAS 2014 represents an excellent conference, focussed on diversified sensors for numerous applications. The provided platform of other young scientists and experts in many different research fields allowed to think outside the box and the presented research results showed the state of the art in different fields. Besides interesting discussions with other attendees I got new impulses for my own work and research activities. Furthermore, I received a student travel grant for my contribution to the SAS 2014. www.ieee.org |
