| Report | During my two stays at the UMET department at the university of Lille I got the chance to both learn the practical basics of Transmission Electron Microscopy in the MinTEM workshop and perform TEM analyses on my own meteorite samples. The results turned out to be crucial for the understanding of my samples and the interpretation of previous data. Working with experts on both TEM and meteorite studies, I benefited greatly from comments and suggestions regarding my current and previous work. The stays allowed me not only to get to know the members of the UMET department, but also establish contacts with other PhD students from different European countries attending the MinTEM workshop. umet.univ-lille1.fr |
