| Report | The financial support of the RS enabled me to participate at the First Conference on Global Value Chains, Trade and Development at the World Bank (WB) in Washington D.C. As one of the most important political and financial institutions the WB brings together leading economicsts. During the conference I could extent my network and make important contacts. I talked to various researchers from the WB and it turned out that they conduct a study which is very similar to my PhD project. I am very lucky that they offered me a reserach stay to collaborate in this project on agricultural value chains in Africa. Thanks to this conference and RS funding I will do a reaearch stay at the WB in July. cbe.ur.ac.rw/eabew/ |
