| Report | The focus of my PhD project is regional integration and economic development in Africa. Funded by the research school, I attended the First Annual Eastern Africa Business and Economic Watch Conference in Kigali, Rwanda, what was a great opportunity to discuss my findings and ideas with African trade researchers. I presented my paper 'New panel data evidence on Sub-Saharan trade integration - Prospects for the COMESA-EAC-SADC Tripartite' for which I received valuable feedback. More importantly, I was confirmed in my results and I got motivated for future work regarding African integration. Furthermore, I talked to Rwandese people who experienced a positive impact of regional integration. cbe.ur.ac.rw/eabew/ |
