| Report | In spring 2014 I spent two months at The European Research Centre on Migration and Ethnic Relations at Utrecht University. My original aim was to prepare a joint publication with one of the most distinguished experts in the field. Much to our surprise we found that two publications can also be realized. Overall, I perceived the Centre, its research meetings and the informal get-togethers with other junior researchers as highly stimulating. I got extensive insights into topically related research projects and feedback on my previous work that really improved my doctoral project. We discussed options to prepare a joint symposium for an international conference and the invitation to present in a research colloquium at the RUB. I need to mention that I am especially thankful to the Research School Plus for the opportunity to take along my husband and at that time one year old son. www.uu.nl |
