| Report | During my stay at UC Berkeley from June to September 2015, I had the possibility to enrich my knowledge about computational modeling of magnetism in iron. Extended discussions with outstanding experts in my field were very useful to further adjust the focus of my work and contributed a lot to the progress of my thesis. My stay at UC Berkeley strongly influenced the methodology I use in my work and opened possibilities I did not think of before. The ongoing cooperation helps me to seamlessly continue my work and to prepare joint publications. Beside all the fruitful exchange, I experienced UC Berkeley as a perfect possible location for my future academic career. www.asta.mse.berkeley.edu |
