Report | My PhD studies were focused on the preparation of peptides, peptide analogues and peptide conjugates that have promising applications in biomedical research, catalysis and materials science. Thanks to the funding of the RUB Research School PLUS, I was able to broaden my expertise on biologically active peptide analogues during a research period at the Université de Montréal in Canada. There, I was interested in the preparation of cyclic peptide analogues for medicinal applications. Furthermore, I was able to invite my host professor to the RUB. This allowed not only strengthening the collaboration between both groups, but also establishing research contacts with other researches of the RUB. |
