| Report | I attended the annual convention of the European Consortium for Political Research(ECPR) held in Glasgow, Scotland. After a competitive reviewing process, I presented my paper entitled 'National Thinking in the Turkish Cypriot Community: A Political Pendulum?' in the panel chaired by Prof. Markus Tausendpfund from the University of Hagen, in cooperation with Prof. Angelika Vetter from the University of Stuttgart. I found opportunity to discuss my own methodological approach with leading professors of the field. Additionally, I joined the Standing Group on Identity, a subdivision under the ECPR, and introduced my idea of organising a conference on European identity next year. |
