| Report | The support of Research School PLUS allowed me to present 3 papers at two international conferences; the Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IECON) held in Dallas and the MEDPOWER conference held in Athens. At both conferences I got the chance to attend high-quality presentations from leading scientists and to make new contacts with researchers working on similar subjects. Furthermore, the Research School PLUS funding allowed me to visit the Electric Energy Systems Laboratory (EESL) at the National Technical University of Athens in Greece. During the laboratory visit I gained further insight on the topic of wind turbine integration and control in microgrids. www.ece.ntua.gr |
