| Report | With financial support of the RUB research schoolPLUS I was able to attend the XI International Fungal Biology Conference in Karlsruhe, Germany, in September 2013. During my PhD thesis I am working on functional and comparative genome studies to analyse fungal development. The International Fungal Biology Conference was a good place to present my latest data to experts on the field of fungal biology. It was my first participation of a scientific conference, where I presented my data of PhD thesis via a poster. It was a great opportunity to discuss my research with international experts on the field of fungal biology and to get in touch with other PhD students, which share the same focus on their work. The attendance of this conference improved my professional and social skills like design a scientific poster, discuss different aspects of fungal biology and meet researchers and collaborates. http://www.kit.edu/index.php |
