Report | A public seminar was organized for student by the Faculty of Law of Ruhr University Bochum and Faculty of Law of Istanbul Ozyegin University with the participation of Prof. Dr. Osman Isfen (Ruhr- University), Prof. Dr. Yener Unver (Ozyegin University) and Prof. Dr. Korkut Kanadoglu (Ozyegin University). The main purpose of the seminar was comparing and contrasting judicial system of German and Turkish. Additionally, making a communication bridge between academics and students of the two University and providing a chance of familiarizing two different culture and law system to the students and academics, were planned. I found these aims very interesting and helpfully for who wants to acquaint with both of law system and I decided to participate to seminar. I made a presentation about law on meetings and demonstrations in German law system by the name of 'The View of Law Regulating Public Meetings'. My presentation was in German but I preferred to continue in Turkish with analysing sample case in order to explain in detail the conflict of two different law system. At the end of program, the organisers of the program was taken lots of very good feedback by most of the participants. Almost all of the participant asked to hold the seminar regularly. In my opinion, the program was very good and important step for my academic future career and I am satisfied by contribution of the seminar to my study in Germany. I would like to add on my report to my thanks to organisers and all sponsor and supporter of the program. |
