Report | Thanks to the RS PR.INT funding I was able to realise a venture I had desired for a while now. As a PhD student in my last year I am in need of a few things: critical input to my collected data for writing my thesis, practice in presenting and discussing my data for the defense and future events, broaden my horizon regarding methods and international contacts for possible future positions as a postdoc. All of this I got out of my project. I attended the world largest neuroscientific conference (SFN) in Chicago (USA ) and combined this trip with a lab visit at a lab whose leading scientist I have met at another workshop a few years ago. http://www.med.nyu.edu/biosketch/ginsbs01 |
