| Report | At the conference 'Dramaturgies of the [obscene]', I gave a lecture on Walid Raad’s performance 'Les Louvres and/or Kicking the Dead' as a critical dramaturgy within the art institutions under the title 'A Scene of the Unseen'. In my reading together with newest philosphical approaches, the performance deals with an always possible alteration of our world by its relation to other worlds - but this relation(-ability) is yet unseen. The function of doubt is developed as well as the speculative concept that objects can be affected by events such as wars but also the powerful junction of art markets, investment and real estate. |
