| Report | The funding granted by RUB Research School allowed me to carry out a research stay at Université Paris-Saclay in Dec 2019 and participate in the ECFG15, one of the most significant international conferences on fungal genetics. In Paris I worked on comparative genomics of anther smuts. These data contributed well to my poster I presented at the ECFG15 which was a unique opportunity for personal scientific exchange on my PhD studies. Furthermore it was an excellent opportunity to establish new contacts with young and experienced researchers in my own field. Especially developing and sharing ideas on fungal genetics during my research stay and the ECFG15 lead to future joint research projects. https://www.ese.universite-paris-saclay.fr |
