Around 20 international PhD students have exchanged together and with several professors of the language disciplines. The Summer School was divided in three actitivities: 1) Two lectures and debates with key note speakers: -Race(ing) against time: Recentering race in the language disciplines. By Dr. Patricia Baquedano-López (USA) -Queer theories and scalability in classroom discourse. By Dr. Luiz Paulo da Moita Lopes (Brasil). 2) Mentoring time: at the beginning of the Summer School we have been assigned a tutoring professor, who supported our research process. 3) Student-leaded reading group: some really interesting debates regarding the indexicality order came up in as part of this academic conversation.
