Study of the damage on the microstructure near the fracture zone of tensile specimens of DP steels - EBSD and Nanoindentation techniques: Activities: o Fracture mechanisms identification through EBDS maps (IPF, KAM, GAM, GOS). o Measure of damage through nanoindentation from the fracture zone up to 15 mm, each two millimeters (strain level). Three indentation grids inside a specific strain level zone. o EBDS and nanoindentation samples applicability: 12 tensile and cyclic load and unload test samples. As-received and heat treated samples. Study of the damage on the microstructure near the crack tip of toughness specimens of DP steels - EBSD techniques - Crack Tip Plastic Zone analysis - Deformation effect. Activities: o Crack Tip Plastic Zone Size. EBDS maps (IPF, KAM, GAM, GOS). o Crack path. EBDS maps (IPF, KAM, GAM, GOS). o EBDS Specific sample applicability: 12 crack growth, as-received material samples. Heat treatment and as-received material samples. Material Characterization. Activities: o Composition: EDX/WDX, precise composition of the different phases. As-received material and heat treated samples. o Crystallographic structure: X-ray diffraction (XRD). o Dislocation and induced damage in the deformed samples: Transmission electron microscopy (TEM). |
