During my research stay I took part at the excavations in Southeast Anatolia. I also visited the sites in Central Anatolia. Because of the pandemic situation it wasn't possible to do the whole work as planned. One of the sites was locked down because of corona. I introduced and discussed my doctoral project with the excavation managers. The visited excavation sites show different stages in the development of Neolithic media. The new and proceeding excavations - especially in Karahan Tepe and Bonçuklu Tarla - will help to gain further important insights for my doctoral thesis. Work for my catalogue was continued by the artifacts in the museums in Sanliurfa, Diyarbakir, Konya and Aksaray, but coldn't be finished so far. |
