Report |
I spent two weeks in the scope of the "Research Explorer Ruhr 2016" program. I attended the workshops of the program, also had a talk in the Center for Religious Studies, where I was invited by Dr. Zara Pogossian. In my opinion Research Explorer Ruhr (RER) is an excellent program for those who have an intention to continue their postdoctoral research in Germany. Participating in RER program I had an opportunity to communicate with researchers form different countries, cultures and of various professions. We explored the university, got to know German system of higher education. RER provided a good platform to the participants to exchange some methodological and educational experiences: we presented our ongoing research during sessions. At the same time, due to the well-organized schedule of the program, we had also extra time for visiting the library, exploring the sights and visiting “Total Bochum” festival. Currently I am no longer teaching in Yerevan State University (which was my home institution while attending the program in 2016). I am a Senior Researcher at “Matendaran” - Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts in Yerevan, Armenia. I also teach a course of Canon Law in Gevorkian Theological Seminary at the Holy See of Etchmiadzin. |
