During my two weeks spent in the Heck lab, I got to observe an innovative experimental approach relevant to my Ph.D. research. Moreover, I got direct mentorship on how to build and improve my own MATLAB scripts for analyzing electrophysiological recordings from multiple brain areas. This research stay experience was beneficial not only by providing concrete ideas for improving my Ph.D. project but also for setting up new partnerships and for career orientation. |
