| Report | From the 3rd until the 6th of March 2022 it was my absolute pleasure to serve as a judge in the European Friendlies rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Budapest! This year's case prominently featured questions of sovereignty, which are closely related to my own PhD project. Through the IRB I had the opportunity to extend my network in the field of international lawyers from many different countries and lead interesting discussions about the problems of the case, which offered interesting new perspectives for my own research. I am happy to report that I was voted as one of the three best judges by the participants of the competition, which is only a reflection of the fun I had during my time in Budapest and the inspiration I drew from the many bright minds around me. |
