| Report | My research stay at the Biblioteca de Catalunya in Barcelona was an exciting experience that allowed me to further develop my PhD project. I had the opportunity to access material that is not available anywhere else, such as original handwritten manuscripts from the collection of the Catalan national poet Jacint Verdaguer. With regard to the research corpus of my project, the stay allowed me to close the last gaps regarding primary texts from Catalonia. But it also helped me a lot with regard to secondary literature. The helpful library staff, who assisted me during the two weeks, also played a big part in this. |
