| Report | My research stay was very relevant for the work on my PhD thesis with the topic "Visualizations of Borders in Contemporary Art", as I was able to work with documentary material in different archives that I cannot access in Germany. Funding from the Research School PR.INT program allowed me to see the U.S.-Mexico border on site to compare the site-specific artworks I am researching with the spatial conditions on site. During the research residency, I interviewed local artists and researchers, visited museums and exhibitions, which is part of my work, photographed site-specific art, and collected informational materials. |
