| Report | The research stay aimed the identification of topics on the interface of social sciences and philosophy which can form the basis for developing a sociological concept of encounters in anonymous space. The two-month-stay can be evaluated from my site as extremely helpful. Not only the expected clarification regarding the specific topic of my dissertation could be developed for the theory part of my work but I also could gain far more insights into the mindset of the recent philosophical discurse. Through the exchange with colleagues I was able to gain a very rewarding overview about the recent topics of the social ontology which I can integrate into my work and it also helped me to identify further research questions which I intend to deal with after finishing my PhD. Thanks to the very wide network structure I had the possibility to meet a wide range of prominent researchers of the mentioned research field. All in all, the research stay was an extremely rewarding expereince. The acquired knowledge is a clear enrichment both for my dissertation project and for my future orientation. |
