Report | During my research stay at New York University, I was able to gain insights in data collection of an interdisciplinary longitudinal project dealing with infant development following maternal perinatal COVID-19 stress. Moreover, the lab visit was a great opportunity to connect with international researchers. I attended in-person studies with 30-month-olds and their mothers and helped coding an emotion regulation task with 12-month-olds. Professor Brito also gave me the opportunity to help preparing a proposal for an upcoming conference. A visit at Professor Barr's infant lab at Georgetown University in Washington provided additional insights into infant research abroad and complemented my research stay in the United States. I thank the Research School for making this research stay possible. |
