Report Thanks to the PRINT scholarship, I was able to conduct fieldwork for my dissertation in Tokyo and some other cities in Japan for three full months during the summer of 2022. I cooperated with Prof. Mira Sonntag from Rikkyo University, who kindly invited me. At Rikkyo University, I could use their large library to do literature research. However, my main focus was conducting field research amongst Japanese Christian communities in Tokyo, Kyoto and even Fukushima. I did participant observation at the church services and interviewed church leaders and members about their religious experiences. Lastly, I was invited to present my findings at Rikkyo University in a Japanese language presentation.
