| Report | Thanks to Research School's and Utrecht Network's research funds I was able to spend a fruitful 1-month-stay at the University of Valencia that allowed me to further develop my PhD project on fairies in Catalan Literature of the late 19th and early 20th century. I had the opportunity to extend my network by talking for example to Rafael Roca, expert in topics and authors regarding the Valencian Renaixença (such as Teodor Llorente and Constantí Llombart), as well as to Alexandre Bataller, expert in Valencian folklore and legends. They answered a lot of my questions regarding the 'special case' of the Valencian Renaixença's authors and texts (in general and especially with regard to fairies) and they helped me to access the corresponding primary literature and provided me very helpful secondary literature. |
