| Report | The annual fieldwork campaign of the 'Making Landscape' project on the island of Sant'Antioco comprised a thorough investigation of the so-called Cannai plain (systematic survey and targeted prospection), the final steps of the excavation at the site of Grutt'i Acqua and the continuous study of the archaeological finds. During the 6 weeks of fieldwork we were able to document a great part of the ceramic finds from past excavation campaings with the help of students from the Ruhr University, who participated as part of their training. The data thus obtained form an important cornerstone of my disstertation, which is why I was very happy to be able to organize my own stay flexibly with the help of the IRB. |
