Report I have stayed at the Learning, Innovation and Technology Lab, led by Prof. Bertrand Schneider, for three months. The LIT lab is part of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. During my stay I was able to participate not only in various colloquia of the working group that I was visiting but also participated in a range of events with a focus on research, career and social networking. For instance, I joined the weekly colloquium of PhD students at Harvard Graduate School, in which PhD students presented their thesis work. I also attended the Grad School fest, which allowed for networking between students from different Harvard graduate schools.

In my project, I acquired new knowledge on the method of eye tracking. Together with Bertrand Schneider, we conducted an experimental study that compared students' learning from erroneous mathematical solution attempts in two experimental conditions. The participants were instructed to study these solution attempts as a preparation for learning prior to an instruction. We recorded participants' gaze movements during this study phase. We collected the data of Harvard students. The data is currently being analyzed and will be published in the course of this year.
