| Report | The research workshop of the Israeli Science Foundation “Critical Performance on Site” was originally meant to take place in 2020 and had been postponed because of the COVID-19-pandemic. Now it was realized in May 2023 and was a great opportunity for me to deepen my exchange with colleagues from Tel Aviv University who I have known from a previous conference visit and a longterm cooperation between Goethe University and Tel Aviv University. I presented my recent research on the oceanic as a mode to rethink performance and got great and productive feedback from the Israeli and international audience. I could also broaden my already existing contacts with Israeli scholars with whom I am preparing an application for the german-israeli “Minerva” program next year. This conference allowed me an international exchange in person which -- due to the pandemic – was very rare throughout my current postdoc. |
