Report As part of PR.INT, I spent a month at the LAST observatory in Israel. LAST is an array of optical telescopes for the systematic survey of the sky on sub-day time scales. The development of the telescope is a joint project between the RUB, DESY in Berlin and the Weizmann Institute. My research group is developing optical components at RUB to measure polarization of astronomical sources. During my stay I installed the self-developed components in the LAST observatory and performed measurements at night. I have also had the opportunity to talk to project members based at the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot and develop joint projects.
