Report |
One of the focal points of my doctoral research involves the investigation of pivotal parameters influencing mechanochemical reactions, which are usually overlooked in typical screenings. For this reason, parameters like the movement pattern and geometry of the milling ball, as well as the reaction temperature need to be examined, as these are important, yet, usually not observed parameters. To address this gap, it is imperative to systematically investigate factors such as the ball movement and geometry of the milling media, alongside the critical factor of reaction temperature. While these variables are of paramount importance, they tend to be overlooked in standard analyses. Through the generous support of the Pr.int Research School Grant, I had the privilege of participating in the SCIRES 2023 Conference held in Zagreb, Croatia in June 2023. SCIRES 2023, an international conference centered on Solid-state Science and Research, brought together researchers from around the world specialized in different research fields on the topic of solid-state chemistry. This provided me the unique opportunity to get in touch with renowned Scientists and benefit from their experience, as current problems could be solved and new ideas could be invented. . Moreover, the conference afforded me the platform to elucidate my own research endeavors before an audience of experts. Given the multifaceted nature of attendees, which spanned beyond mechanochemists to encompass physicists and scholars from traditional chemical domains, the conference enriched my perspective by unveiling diverse vantage points on my subject matter. Lastly, the event empowered me to cultivate a professional network, from which my work will benefit largely in the future. |
