Report At the Colloque L´Asie Centrale au Carrefour des Grandes Puissances young researchers, mainly Ph.D. candidates shared their work. In a classical format of sessions dedicated to different aspects, namely (1) multilateralism in Central Asia, (2) influence of soft power in Central Asia, and (3) water, environment, and security in Central Asia, presentations were held and discussed afterward. The event was organized by the Institut d'Études de Géopolitique Appliquée (Institut EGA) in cooperation with the Ministry of Armed Forces of France. The contribution I added to the event was about multilateralism or parallelism in the Central Asian region - the role of the EU and China.
