| Report | The RS plus grant enabled me to attend the third World Cobference of Humanitarian Studies: 'Human Security: Humanitarian Perspectives and Response', Which took place in Istanbul, from 24-27 October 2013. For the first time, I organized a Panel jointly with a more advanced expert in the area of Gender & Humanitarianism and presented two papers on different aspects of my PhDresearch jointly with different collegues. The participation in the conference thus enormously contributed to the further development of my PhD Project, helped to improve my academic presentation & Networking skills and provided me with the unique opportunity to get to know the international community in the nascent field of Humanitarian Studies. www.marmara.edu.tr/en |
